Is Huion GT-220 Pen Display Worth Investing into for Zbrush?

Hi guys, I’ve been a Wacom user relatively long time, having currently a Cintiq 13" HD at disposal. However, I’m looking for an upgrade to a wider screen but I’ve got a limited budget. In other words, definitely not as much as a Cintiq 22" HD or higher.

Anyway, I’ve seen that there are substitutes that cost significantly less with screens that range from 19" to 21". Some of those have allegedly received very positive feedback, such as Huion GT-220, which seems to rival Wacom as to pressure sensitivity.

However, I cannot dismiss the fact that the above mentioned pen display is under 1000$ and for what they claim to offer, it sounds to me a bit too much. In this sense, I really need somebody who’s got experience with low/mid-range price pen displays to point me, which one is really worth to invest cash into. You are more than welcome to recommend other makes that have not been listed here.

PS: I checked previous threads on this subject matter but I really need an additional insight for I want to make sure I pick the right rig.

I had one and it worked fine. I upgraded to a monoprice 22" though cause it was better and also had express keys. And its only like $300.

I have the GT-221 Pro (21.5") and HIGHLY recommend it. Love the sensitivity, zero parallax and ZBrushing with it will bring you to a whole 'nother level. Love mine!

Yes, it’s a good pen

Yes, it’s a good pen. I used this for about a year, the price is justified. Now I remembered about investing in real estate and I came up with a cool idea. I’ve been working here for a while. I’m not an architect, but after working with real estate and private lending for real estate, when I saw dozens of cool cottages in person, I came up with the idea to design the houses myself. Mostly I have ready sketches for exterior decoration of buildings, but I would like to ask for advice from more experienced designers in this area, if you are ready to cooperate, write to me!
