Since the new hulk movie is on its way i decided to put up a poster i made. This is my first post and hopefully not my last. Please when judgeing my post try not to be too harh, because im only 17 and this is my first zbrush work. I hope you all enjoy it.

Welcome! Id love to comment on this but honestly, I really cant see too much. It would be great to pump up the intensity on the light you've got in ther just a bit so we can check out the model.

Pffff… You’re fair game. :slight_smile: Besides, as long as the critiques are honest and constructive, harsh should be secondary. Nobody like to be judged harshly, but that’s the only way to grow - as you can become to attached to your own work. Objectivity is where it’s at.

As far as the piece goes…

  • Too dark / poorly lit, which leads to loss of detail
  • The aspect ratio appears to be off, making Hulk look thin/squished
  • Too much color reduction
  • Not enough personality to the piece. Hulk is kind of a force of nature. To see him so still & lifeless… You really need to capture the essence of the character through pose and expression.
  • Boring composition, apart from the character pose. There’s nothing much to separate the character from either the background or the title. You could probably have more going on without the risk of the piece being “too busy.”
  • On an anatomical note, from what little I can see, there doesn’t appear to be any great distinction between neck, shoulders, & chest. Perhaps some more defintion to the shoulders/neck and maybe the slight suggestion of a clavicle could round him off.

Anyway, those are my critiques.
