Human skull FREE for download

Hi there. I did a human skull which is made public for you to download and use. I made this to primarily learn about human anatomy and to have a reference when modeling a character.

I included OBJ as well as .ZTL where lower jaw is a subtool for easy modification.

The provided link is hosted on Rapidshare. Anyone can download there without a premium account. Just click on Free Download.

In case the link goes down after a month or so write me a PM and I’ll reup it.

So without further to do:

Happy downloading and brushing. Write me if you like it.

So long…

Hint on using this. I load it as a subtool into my project and make it transparent. Then I can sculpt my actual model around it preserving certain anatomic proportions. I did this quick sculpt below on using this technique

Excellent images and tool

hi monkeYB07.
hey i like your skull model/ tool
would you mind if i make an actual 3d print of this skull.
16mm
in wax then
cast into silver.
im a noob realy with zbrush but im trying to learn as fast as poss…lol i mostly use rhino and i no not much about mesh:lol:.
my m8 has a solidscape 3d wax printer and we want to try growing mesh models i thought this would be a good test run.

so far im trying to join it all up together and bolein union the the inside away leaving a 1.2 mm thick skin.

i have tryed to export this tool into rhino to do the union difference/ join.
but things are happining that i just dont understand…yet.:o
it is very hard to get the the teeth to join up …i can only seem to do it with a lot of trial and error just moving them around slightly till the join.

most of the time the mesh appears to bolien intersect when trying to join.
i dont know why yet but it do stuff i dont expect or understand.

i need to get a water tight mesh with no overlaps or realy dense lines.
got to be nice and clean or the printer craps out.

and its expensive to run but i got to find out how to do this lol.
so sorry for my noobish style i think i need to do some more tutorials and find out how to do all the editing in z-brush.

Cool. Thanks for the resource.

Cool,thanks for sharing!

thanks, this may come in handy…

especially for zombies
