How to setup Intuos 5 (M) for Zbrush?

Hi! I just opened and installed my wacom Intuos 5(Medium)http://compstore.gmu.edu/products/wacom/images/intuos5Med.jpg and it’s awesome but I don’t know if is there a way to set the buttons and the touch ring to use them in zbrush.
As it is now the touch ring doesn’t interact with brush size rotation(as it does in photoshop) and so on but if it does it could be awesome!
Someone can help me? What’re your settongs for this kind of tablet?
Thanks!!!

Hi,

Getting setup it’s a good idea to download the latest drivers for your intuos. Find your operating system on this page:

http://www.wacom.asia/au/tablet-drivers?tid_1=99&tid=All

Make sure your model number corresponds to the driver just to be sure of compatibility.

You can customize any function of the tablet using the software that comes with the driver. I would definitely increase the brush pressure sensitivity a fair bit so you don’t end up scratching up the tablet.

Also to cycle through the touch ring functions, press the inner circle. Two clicks and the touch ring will be set to brush size.

Hope you enjoy!

Yeah the brush size is set to work with photoshop and I don’t know how I have to change it to make it work with zbrush.
I have the last drivers…the problem is that in the wacom tablet properties->touch ring the brush size is set to keystroke, and the keystrokes are “[” and “]” and it works in photoshop but not in zbrush, what I have to write instead of [ and ] tomake it work in zbrush too?

I just installed the latest drivers for my Intuos 5 and you are absolutely right, the touch ring does not work at all in ZBrush.

The other functions seem fine but it looks like Wacom have messed it up somehow.

The last drivers I know that work properly with ZBrush 4r5 are version “6.3.3-4” so you could try those until Wacom fixes the bug.

If anyone from Pixologic is reading this, could you please look into the problem for us?

Thanks.

Thanks for the reply, I’ll try with the old drivers  hope it works

This is going to sound stupid, but have you restarted the computer since install of the driver?

I booted up today and the touch ring works fine in ZBrush using latest drivers.

Could be another weird ZB quirk.

Hope it works for you too!

Yep I restarted it, I also tryed to install the older driver that you suggested me but when I restarted the pc it said that there was no driver recognised lol XD
