I need to rotate not the subtool itself.
I need to block the rotation of the camera along the “z” axis with a held shift in the viewport
Hello @Artur_Lyzhov,
You can specify the axis along which you’d like the camera to rotate using the XYZ, X, Y, Z options found in the Transform Palette or along the side of the default UI viewport, but these are not absolute.
If you need absolute rotation only along the specified axis, you can use the Axis Rotation function found in the Transform Palette.
you did not understand me
in the “transform” section I have limited rotation along the “y” axis,
but the problem arises when I press the “SHIFT”
key to align to the side, front, back view, sometimes there is a rotation along the “z” axis and it really annoys me
you can press “shift” and move the pen up and they will align along the “z” axis
that is, your floor should be right or left.
so i need to block it
Hello Artur,
There is no way to do this in ZBrush while holding down SHIFT. Use the Cam View instead to rotate your model.
As I explained previously, the XYZ, X, Y, and Z rotational axes in the transform palette are not absolute unless you are using the Axis rotation plugin.
