Hello! I am sorry if I should not be asking this question, but I would like to know. I have watched people being able to sculpt from scratch in Zbrush and animate the sculpt in Maya. I am done with a full realistic dragon that I sculpted from scratch in Zbrush and want to animate it in Maya. I want it to attack a camera. However, when I try to open it in Maya through clicking ‘Open scene’ or ‘Import’ in File tab it says ‘Unrecognized file type’. I have only saved the dragon sculpt as a Zbrush tool. How do I import it and is there something I should do before opening it up in Maya?
You can use “Tool > Export” as OBJ. file. You can use the FBX Import/Export plugin in ZBrush. You can use GoZ for Maya.
