How to Disable the Tablet Quick menu? (solved)

As the title says, how do I stop the quick menu with draw size, focal shift and intensity from popping up when I apply pressure to the same spot for more than a second?

It’s driving me mad right now. Every time my pen touches the tablet this menu pops up and it’s making it impossible to get anything done.

I didn’t have this with 3.5 so I’m assuming it’s something new in 4.

I’ve taken a look through preferences but I couldn’t find anything that seemed related to it.

Any help with this would be appreciated.

I believe there is an option in the UI Preferences for Quick Menu. Deselect it.

Sorry. Just checked and the Quick Menu button just brings up the menu.

Have you got the pen nib set up as the right-click? That’s the only reason I can think why you should be getting the quick menu.

Are you running Windows 7 or Vista? The TabletPC components have a “click and hold for Right-Click” option on by default. The TabletPC components are automatically activated whenever a graphics tablet is plugged in to the system. Go to Control Panel->Pen Input and uncheck the “hold for right click” checkbox.

Thank you all for your help!

You were both right. Click and hold was on by default, and switching it off has solved the issue.

Thanks again.
