How to delete stray "clay"

Hi all (I hope this is the right place?),

Total beginner at Zbrush here, but I’ve tried googling this and the solution I keep finding doesn’t seem to be supported in core? Basically I was sloppy with my mask/extrude and ended up with these little ovals on his elbows. I want to get rid of them without deleting the subtool and doing the whole mask process again. (Pic in attachments)

This is the solution I think I need:

"If this doesn’t help, look into how you’re making your selection. Dragging a rectangle will indeed mask clear through, but drawing with CTRL held will not.

And then, of course,
Tool : Masking : Inverse (or ctrl-click outside your model)
Tool : Masking : HidePt

And when you’ve got everything the way you want it,
Tool : Geometry : Delete Hidden"

However, I can’t seem to find the HidePt they are talking about in the masking panel. I can’t find the “Delete hidden” under geometry either…

Am I looking in the wrong spot or something? Or is it simply not in core?? Is there some other way to accomplish this?

Any help would be amazing - maybe I’m just not googling the right things :frowning:Screen Shot 2018-04-27 at 6.23.43 PM.jpg

To begin with, ZBrushCore has it’s own Question and Troubleshooting forum here. You might have better luck posting in there. (Edit) I just noticed that this was moved from the ZBrushCore forum to here. I think it should have stayed where it was. I don’t understand why it was moved.

The “HidePT” and “ShowPT” would be in the “Tool > Visibility” menu. I don’t think ZBrushCore has that option. As I don’t use ZBrushCore, I can’t be 100% sure of that. You should look into Selection Brushes and Polygroups for hiding and deleting geometry.

The “Del Hidden” button is in “Tool > Geometry > Modify Topology” menu.

Here is a resource you should look into…
