how to change colors of my 3D object automatically when I select a new color?

I set the material to “BasicMaterial”.

I then select the colors (see green sphere on left).

My main 3D object should automatically change to the green color
or automatically change to any other colors everytime I select a different color from the sphere on the left.

but currently mine 3D object does not change colors when I select the colors.

How do I configure my zbrush options so that my 3D object automatically change colors when I select a different color from the sphere on the left?

Hello @One_Above_All

Your not getting the live preview anymore because you probably already filled the subtool with color and/or material. Now, in order to see the color or material change as you select it, you will have to turn Colorize off (small paint brush icon on subtool). Once you are satisfied with your color and material selection you will have to fill (FillObject) the subtool again to make it permanent.
