Hi,
Maybe you can’t do this on a mac. To get a screen grab an a mac I press a key combo. But I can’t get ZBrush to stay in wirefram while I take the screen shot. I’ve tried setting dots preferences very low but that doesn’t work.

Same problem on a PC
What can to do for a snap screen when the “Dot” Mode is on ?

I don’t seem to have any problems on the pc doing this. I don’t know about Macs. On PC just keep the object in edit mode. Turn DOTS on then click the mouse button so it the object mesh appears. While holding down the mouse button use your other hand to screen capture (shift+printscreen on PC). Worked like a charm for me.
EDIT: mentat explained it while I was too
Thx Mentat but my right shift-key is broken (very old keyboard), so I must push the left shift-key and the print-screen-key with my nose but nothing to do, No “save” left-shift= right-shift ? ! In the case of a good manipulation in what folder is saved the screen ?
Pilou
Frenchy, it is in no saved folder. You need to open up any graphics application (paint shop pro, adobe photoshop etc.) and open a ‘new document’, then go up to 'edit" and click ‘paste’
Frenchy when you screen capture the image it is copied to your computer’s memory resident clipboard. You can paste it into any graphics editing program such ans MS Paint, or Photoshop just as Peter has stated.
I was just trying to make the dots stay on, I didn’t even think the keyboard would work while holding down the dots. To my surprise it does work. The full screen capture won’t work (Command Shift 3) but the defined capture does work (Command Shift 4).
Fabulous
But not with my nose !!!
On my keyboard the “print-screen” is without
shift
just “print-screen”
Try on your computer!
Pasting after is than your tip !
Thx again and happy Zbrushing.

Frenchy - if you have Paint Shop Pro, another alternative offering more control over what you capture is to use its screen capture utility. Leave the default way to start the capture as a right-click. press the camera icon to Start Capture. Back in the ZBrush window, switch to wireframe mode, right-click in the canvas then left-click and drag to define the area you want to grab. Release and you’ll be taken back to the PSP window with the image captured and displayed ready for editing or whatever. There are other options for full-screen, window or client area grabs.
You don’t need to use the Shift key in conjunction with the PrtScn key. PrtScn by itself will capture the entire desktop (across all monitors, if you have more than one). Using Shift+PrtScn will capture just the current window and ignore the rest of the desktop.
