How do I take a snapshot of ZBRUSH

How do I take a snapshot of my model inside ZB? Anyone know how to do it? Just started using it…Thanks in advance!

if you are talking about screenshots…you need another program or you can try hitting print screen button…not sure if that works or not. I like ScreenHunter…its free too.

If you are talking about zb’s snapshot feature there is a button that looks like a camera, I believe on the rightside of the default screen(don’t hold me to that) or you can find it in I think the transform menu that will snapshot your model to the canvas making an instance of it a 2.5d object. you can still move and edit it in 3d if ya like.

you can try hitting print screen button…not sure if that works or not

On a PC
It’s the more easy and works fine
Press the Button “Print screen” = Copy the screen on the “memory buffer”
So after launch any 2D prog : Menu Edit / Past as “new image”

Thanks Frenchy!

been so long sinced I tried that I couldn’t remember all the specifics. ha come to think of it I think the last time I tried it was windows 3.0 and remember it didn’t always work well.

Hi Nuts,

It’s been a few months now that I’ve been using ScreenHunter at your suggestion and I just wanted to point out that there is a new free version out, Release 5, which is just dandy for capturing parts of the interface to use in tutorials and such.

Here’s the free link - ScreenHunter 5

sweet! Thanks!

I’ve come to love my little ScreenHunter!

Or Texture > Grab Doc (Ctrl+Shift+G) and then export the texture.

Is there something wrong with Document: Export?

Hi Ryan,

This is an OLD, OLD thread so it’s hard to know what he really was asking but I think what Nuts was answering was how do you take a snapshot which INCLUDES the User Interface - perhaps to show state of buttons relative to a something happening to the model.

Print Screen does it, or, if you need to quickly grab some part of the interface or an error message… (like for the Wiki or for a picure-tutorial or asking for help here on the forum) then ScreenHunter is perfect for that - and it’s free.
