How do I get symmetry after importing from 3ds max?

I’m making a game and need to make characters for it. Normally I would work straight from zbrush but as this is a lower poly game I decided to make the vbse meshes in 3ds max which I feel is better to get hard surface detail as I haven’t had much luck with hard surface in zbrush. My problem is that when I export from 3ds max and import to zbrush I don’t know how to get symmetry set up for the model.

Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance.

If it’s already a symmetrical model, then just press X (enable/disable symmetry) in Zbrush.

If the location on screen is off, then go to Tool Menu > Geometry tab, and under Position, set your X coordinates to 0.

For Radial symmetry, look under the Transform Menu, click the ® and set your radial count with the slider.

Hope this is what you were looking for! Cheers ~

Thanks I’ll give that a try the base model is symmetrical so hopefully that should work.

Yeah that did it can’t believe I didn’t know that thanks.
