how can i delete indiviual feathers, so i can reduce length of wing.
how do i select the feather i want and delete it?

Hold down ‘Ctrl+Shift’ and click on the polygroup you want to delete. This will hide the rest. Hold down ‘Ctrl+Shift’ again and click+drag on the canvas. This will invert the selection. Go to ‘Tool > Geometry > Modify Topology’ and click ‘Del Hidden’ (delete hidden).
If you change your mind after you hide a polygroup, just hold down ‘Ctrl+Shift’ and click on the canvas to show all polygroups again.
