HELP! The hot key combination for "Transpose Modeling" has been changed????

Hi there,

I was trying to follow Michael Pavlovich’s tutorial (video link:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W7GYNFAzxtA, starts from around 7:30/1:05:10) and tried to do a he called “Transpose Modeling” which is to use the Move Tool while holding down Shift+Ctrl hot keys to get a very clear cut edge between the masked and unmasked areas. Please see attached screenshot for the effect.

However, I’m using Zbrush 2018 and that hotkey combination doesn’t work for me at all. I’ve been having a hard time looking for the new hotkey combination with google. :cry:small_orange_diamond:cry:

I hope someone here can please give me a hand… It’d be greatly appreciated!!!

The hotkey is Ctrl (and has been for as long as I can remember). Ctrl+Shift will inflate/deflate but won’t create the edge loop.
You need to have Scale selected (not Move as you show) to be able to deflate the unmasked portion of the model then:

  1. Click on the white (center) ring of the center rings of the Transpose line.
  2. Then press Ctrl and click+drag.

It’s important to press the mouse button on the white ring before you press Ctrl.
