Help properly configure ZBrush 4!

Hi!
Somebody could help me with memory settings and polygons? I have 4 GB of memory and XP sees 3.2GB of them and put in the settings of Zbrush memory 2300mb, but at higher ranges out here these errors:

I do not understand English, but it is clear that if a memory error that is due to memory, but the trouble is that, during the process, memory, hard drives and RAM can not be filled!. May be something in the settings to change anything??
Why drive and memory is not filled?
And, how to change size, editor display ???

Hmm.I had problems like this too.
I have a quad processor,4gb ram and dual graphics card.

Tried various settings.
However,these so far have been ok-
Under Preferences/Mem
Compact Mem 256
Doc undo 4
Tool undo 4
MaxPolyPerMesh 10.05
HD Poly Preview 5.00

See if they help you.
Also I find the less programs you have running at the same time the better.

Hey,

I had somewhat the same memory problem some time ago as well.

I solved this by reducing the doc undo AND the tool undo to “1”.

The undo function creates copies of your scene so if your undo is set to 10 then zbrush holds 10 scenes in memory :wink:

But zbrush will still hold more undos in memory if it can but it is now not reserved/locked.

Many thanks to all!
I will try to undo this, but if you put 256 then the polygons do not increase, the object looks ugly and if inducing patterns on this site, they are not clear ugly.
If you put 256 then the program will not use more than 256? or is it simply as a cluster size of 256 and when the program creates something like clusters on the 256MB, that is, 256 is the limit? for the program or what?
