Very good start ! Try to work more on these heads . I can not see the jaw area . Try to determine more chin area too . Do not make any wrinkles on the head yet . Try to determine its bone and muscle areas first .Look at anatomy books . Dont look only at photos of live ppl but also at anatomy where you can see how those bones and muscles are placed .

As you see from this picture

The head is not so round as you think . But try to find good anatomical references. For me I have bought an aantomy atlas from local store . For example I can show you my WIP before I used anatomy and after

Nice start as always  I can not advice you briefly because I am new to anatomy too  But one thing what is sure is you need to pull your muscles out .

About base mesh

Here is scene files from 3D world magazine issue 105 .
http://www.3dworldmag.com/page/3dworld?entry=3d_world_105_s_sculpting
There you will find two links
One contains organised base mesh of female human . It is fantastic and I think it is just as low poly and organised as it is possible  So the thing is that you just need to copy it many many times and you will learn it  But it is not necessary to just sit and copy it . You may just copy it once adn then sculpt your head or what ewer you want . When you want to start new sculpt copy the base mesh again and so on . At least I do so . How to copy ? You just put polygons as they are in this base mesh . Thats all .

I made my base mesh by looking at this base mesh . At the first time I was drawing those loops on paper like crazy to remember them  But then I realised this is unnecessary

Ah and the second link will lead you to the wonderful website where you can find all info about anatomy books , courses and anatomy in whole . I found that link just today because of your request  So thank you .

About my head . Yes it was made in Zbrush apart from base mesh which was done in 3ds max . The first version was full of anatomical mistakes and I got a very big critics from ppl on different forums . Then I took some anatomical references and started almost from the beginning ans the second pic is the final result . Now I am making fine details like pores and wrinkles . Then I will try to polypaint whole this stuff and render it in 3ds max . I have got total war with displacement maps and their nasty seams  It took me about one week to somehow fix main problems .

So if you have any questions about pipeline I will be more than happy to tell you all what I know .

But now it is tome for watching Spiderwick
By the way do you like BLIZZARD ART or WARHAMMER art ?

This link will lead you directly to the tutorials about sculpting human figures by Scott Eaton http://www.scott-eaton.com/tutorials

I havent tried it yet

hey,ahtiandr thanks a lot for your helpful linkes!!!:+1: :+1:
and about more qustion,i promise you!

((((By the way do you like BLIZZARD ART or WARHAMMER art ?))))
yeeeeeees,i like it:D  :+1:

any way,i have a qustion about pencile drawing!
is it good for my 3d modeling?

thanks and byE

I think you know the answer already

Of course it is good to practice drawing anatomy . As I have said I am studying anatomy myself and I have life drawing courses here in Helsinki twice a week and it really helps me to understand human form better

Here are few more links for you which I suppose will help you . At least they help me a lot

Video drawing lessons http://the-structure-of-man.blogspot.com/
However it is not for free but it is worth of it !
You can watch preview of every lesson for free .

Here are very good websites for drawing references . So if you want to draw ppl this is a very good place for finding perfect references :

Male anatomy http://www.human-anatomy-for-artist.com/
Female anatomy http://www.female-anatomy-for-artist.com/

And finally here are some books written by Andrew Loomis http://fineart.sk/index.php?cat=1
These books will help you to understand proportions and so on …

More questions ?

:+1: hey buddy thanks a lot!!!

The face is already a good start, as for the model you should define the muscles a bit more (or model a less muscular body). Go into detailing and work from big to small.
