Hey guys,

I know not many have this issue but if you are using a Wacom tablet with Lion or Mountain Lion and you experience input lag after pressing and express key, go here:

And download the 6.1.7-5 driver (yes its very old).

This fix worked for me and a few others. Note that this doesn’t happen only in ZBrush, it happens regardless of what program you use, its just the most crippling in ZBrush because of the extent the modifier keys are used.

If you have that problem and the fix works for you please post below and list what kind of tablet you have. I’m trying to get a list across several sites to send to Wacom.

My tablet is an Intuos 4 Wireless.

i gave it a go and it didn’t do anything for me, sadly…
really hope this whole thing gets squared away real soon!

Sorry to hear that :frowning: From what I saw on the Wacom forums this morning it’ll work on 4 tablets, not 5 tablets :frowning:

I agree that this whole thing is a mess. Wacom needs to get it straightened out soon.

I filed bug reports with them several times and actually heard back each time, then I copied those emails and filed bug reports with Apple (since Wacom claims part of the problem is with Apple’s code). I hope by being the squeaky wheel that we will get a real fix soon.

Also just for completions sake did you uninstall the wacom software first before trying the old driver? If not give that a try. Type “Wacom Utility” into spotlight and when it opens there’s an option to remove user preferences and tablet software. I did both and then installed the old driver.
