ghost-d sculpting (practice) thread

looks just like him! although hes a much worse person in Dancer in the Dark, although i guess in 12 Monkeys he wipes out most of the human race too. lol. great work! only crit i have is to make a slight bit more of a gap between his neck and the collar.

Whoa, man! Amazing progress! Hard to compare your older models with this one.

Great likeness!

Great model man!

I love “The Green Mile”.
(Except for that lame part at the end where the old guy still has the mouse.)

nice job on all the models, keep em comin! you should post the basemesh of each model, - a lot of people could learn from looking at your models within zbrush

Wow! your skills have advanced so much. The last character is spot on! well done.

Wow great job. Your pieces all have a lot of character to them, some of the lifelike quality, even though stylized, that character modelers strive for. I can see through your older posts that you have always had a knack for portraits, but this latest one definitely shows how much you have improved. Can’t wait to see more!

jup thats a grate likeness! i digg it!

Thank you very much for the comments, fellas. I´m currently working on couple things I´d like to post but some of them I´ve postponed till january, because that´s when I´m about to get a new machine that will allow me A LOT higher polycounts (atm. I´m working on 6 years old machine and it´s like 300k polys and then it gets quite painful) so I should be able to use different sculpting techniques to improve the quality and details of my sculpting. And I´ll be finally able to run zbrush 3.5 (as well as Marmoset, UT engine and other things that can help a lot with presentation of my pieces in portfolio) which I can´t wait to put my hands on.
