I’d like to share my free to download Marvelous Designer project file of a dynamic 3D Renaissance dress (see image below).
Included in the download is the MD garment file, the Marvelous Designer dress patterns, a fabric physical property preset, and the seamless waistband texture.

The included fabric physical property preset creates soft, flowing fabric and can be used for any Marvelous Designer project (long sleeves, capes, skirts, dresses). Simply import the physical property preset and apply it to any garment’s part(s).
Patterns included are the skirt pattern, waistband pattern, 2 sleeve patterns, and the bodice/top pattern.
It includes Marvelous Designer clothing patterns and sewing patterns as well as a closeup of the settings for the waistband.
You can reference the patterns to see how the clothing parts are made for learning purposes or trace them to recreate them.
How can you use this free garment?
Commercial use is allowed! You can use this MD dress for personal and commercial projects.
You can even modify it and create rigged clothing for sale.
And you can delete parts of the Marvelous Designer dress and save parts out as separate garments which you can then import into any project. For instance, you could save the skirt out and then when you need a skirt garment, import it into your project.
This dress was designed on DAZ Girl 6 avatar, however, it is easy to fit the garment to any avatar including custom ones you import (even if they are much fatter/thinner/taller/shorter etc.)
