I liked a lot the Frank character in True Detective season 2.
What is the techniqe fot the hair please? I saw it before (first it is only polygons for the hairstyle, then fibermesh). How to do it? And what is the point? Thanks for answer

It is not fibermesh (except for the eyebrows). When dealing with longer hair that has specific shapes, I find fibermesh
hard to control. Also, if the character is for the game, then hair is done with polygons and textures with alpha.
Once you have polygon hair model, you can extract curves from edge loops to make maya hair, or use GMH script:
