Hey guys
Is there a way to duplicate and then mirror a subtool?
Say for example you are creating shoes for a character and want to keep them seperate. Model one and when your done be able to duplicate and flip it.
Thankyou very much.

yes
what you need to do is clone the subtool - it will appear as a separate tool - then go to Deformation > mirror
and then append it as a new subtool
hope that helps!
Thank you very much that is great.
Can I just say I think this community really is awesome. I love zbrush there is nothing like it but there is so much to it that it’s tricky to work out even with the documentation. I’ve asked a few questions recently and they have all been answered really quickly. It’s great to know you guys are about.
It’s a tiny bit more complicated than Intervain says - sorry Intervain - if your subtool has subdivision levels:
Go to the highest subdivision level and clone the subtool you wish to mirror. Append the clone as a new subtool.
Switch to the clone subtool and delete the lower subdivision levels by pressing Tool:Geometry: Del Lower.
Press Tool: Deformation: Mirror after selecting the axis you want.
Press Tool:Texture:Enable UVs if they are not enabled.
Press Tool:Geometry:Reconstruct Subdiv repeatedly until all the previous levels are restored.
Is it keep mesh UV?
I used submaster tool and mirrored my subtool, but later noticed UV was messed up
