Displacement Fail

screwing around with the mentalray fast skin shader. starting to make a bit of sense. time to move on to something else.
anyone know how to get accurate displacement map to work with 3ds max?
they always seem a bit off. peace.

Mental ray displacement maps are not perfect, Something I’m not sure how to fix.

Maybe this thread can help you a little, it’s written for maya, but there should be similar settings on mental ray for max
