Hello. I’m new to zBrush and I have a question about using it with a tablet. When entering field values in the pulldown menus, the menu disappears on me after I click in a field and then move the pen from the tablet to enter the value. I’ve looked all over and can’t find a pref to change this behavior. Do I have to keep useing the keypad with my left hand?:mad:

I make sure that the cursor is within the menu when I lift off…takes some practice but lift the pen up straight off so the cursor stays put and you can enter whatever values you need to with no troubles. After a time or two it becomes second nature to ya.
Ok. I just wanted to confirm that I wasn’t missing something obvious. I’ll try to get used to lifting my pen (higher) before I go for the number pad! I must say, this interface, while incredibly clever, defies everything I (used to) know about cgi software - it’s been fun though!

You could try adjusting Preferences : Interface : Pulldown Border. That will allow you greater cursor movement before the palette hides itself.
Another option would be to place the palettes to the left and right of the canvas. They will be fixed there so any cursour movement is fine.
