Dingir đ’€

Mythical dagger (Dingir đ’€)
Dingir is a Sumerian word for “god” or “goddess” .
The dagger is created for a god like character or creature . I designed its concept while ago and really wanted to make it 3d because unfortunately there isn’t many concepts or 3D arts about Mesopotamia .
The goat head on the handle is the god (Ea) who was known as "The protector of his people and the bringer and giver of knowledge and civilization to humanity ".
The Bird on the handle is Anzû or “heavenly eagle” , he is the personification of the southern wind and the thunder clouds , he is shown flying the skies watching closely indicating incoming danger and constant fear of evil .
The palm tree represents Mesopotamia , the two rivers representing Tigris and Euphrates and underneath the plant of immortality .
watching over the skies The crescent moon (represents the god Sin) the sun ( the Shamash god of justice) and the star the goddess Ishtar .
