Deathclaw W.I.P

Ok, I think this is my first actual render I post on these forums. A model I started months ago and for some reason forgot to post. Haven’t really gotten the time to finish it yet.

I am having a hard time repositioning him so his stance looks more natural but as I understand it should get easier with zbrush 3 (wohoo yeyey!). The textures are more of a test, since I really suck at it. I have copy/pasted the whole thing from reference pictures taken at the interplay basement.

Hmm… I guess that is a deathclaw now, isn’t it? Nice work. Waiting to see where you go with this.

Ok, I kind of forgot to update the thread but I have posed the character and I’m pretty satisfied with how it turned out. Had to remove the texture because it just looked too terrible. Thanks zbrush for an amazing product!

I just love that model ! maybe lower jaw looks a bit strange in last one but overall GREAT!

Very nice job on the pose…very dynamic. I agree about the lower jow, however. Seems disjointed now. Overall, excellent and I hope you are able to achieve what you wanted with the texture.

based on the Fallout monster?.. great choice… I remember those guys were really tough
