Hello peeps. It’s been a little while since my previous post…but here it is at last, an homage to Daft Punk. Daft Punk are french musicians Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter and like most people -they love to dress as robots at weekends and moonwalk through space whilst riding giant turntables. The image developed from an idea I had to use some older models that I had never put to good use and to practice some hard-edged modeling techniques. I intend to complete a second version (actually the original idea) some time soon, as a companion piece . Hard edged stuff (turntable) created in Maya, sculpted, posed and warped in zbrush. Textures and post work in Photoshop. Comments and crits most welcome, as always.
