HEy man! This is really great work, just caught my attention! @Jaime is right! I love hair, face and hard surface works! I would love to see how did you approach making hard surface and hair

Thanks both of you !

For the hair, its a mix between zbrush and xgen in maya. Basically I started by sculpting the volumes in Zbrush like you see on the third picture. I decimated the mesh and imported it into Maya.
After that in maya I used the cruve tool and snap it to the zbrush mesh. I created approx 40 curves all around the mesh.

Next I created an xgen expression and converted the curves into guide

From then I used modifiers (clumping and noise) to give the volume and create the stray hairs. Nothing fancy, but a lot of polishing, layering effects and renders to check the result.

The hard surface was mostly Zbrush and maya for fix here and there.
For the face and hands I extracted piece by masking the body parts I wanted covered. Sculpted some rough details and then Zremesh it with polygroups.
Once zremeshed I used Deformation -> polish by groups to give te hard surface look and then added some small details and lines here and there.

The legs are mostly done with basic primitives and Zmodeler for the concepting. Extracting pieces using masking , zremesh and panel loops workflow.
I used maya for small fix in topology here and there and eventually add some more complex pieces.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have more specific questions :slightly_smiling_face:
