Finally to begin seriously in ZBRUSH. Done this super cute character, one of all time fav for practise and fun . Used to use Maxon Cinema 4D Sculpt integrated, still do for some basic things and quick, cause i mostly work in Cinema 4D, rarely Maya too, for my creations. But ZBRUSH offers simply much more than any other tool software for this purpose. Its fantastically optimized program for hardware potentials, compared to Cinema 4d and Mudbox, for example, which uses only one thread for computing. I find great workflow in terms Mari - ZBRUSH displacement alpha painting for creating most realistic characters, which im gonna present in the future too, for example. At first i was rejected with a little bit “unusual working interface” , but suddenly everything just coming into place . Guess main reason for it is that ZBRUSH was originally made for 2D painting (2.5D?) and they kept it. In my opinion, but i doubt it gonna be done ever, i would suggest pure 3D ZBRUSH version, with more balanced simplified intuitive interface for that purpose, kind of more similar to other mainstream modeling software. This mix of 2.5D/3D makes it somehow confusing at the times and slowing the workflow. Unnecessary really for the ppl using it just for sculpting and pure 3D, as i do. With this new Dynamics system, its even greater than ever. Its simulation works also super fast! Hello to everyone here, my name is Sumina Zoran and im passionate about art in general and computer graphics from its early days.
So cute!
