Childhood Hero
Hi everyone, that’s my first post on ZbrushCentral and I’m glad to share with you my most current and so far the most exciting project.
As a kid I was heavely fascinated and inspired by the MOTU franchise, from the action figures (The New Adventures of He-Man), the animated series and of course the motion picture from 1987. Despite the fact that the film was missing a few important things, I still think the costumes and characters are great today and I have a strong memory being “him”. So I decided reincarnate my childhood hero and make my own fanart version!
This project took me a while as I was only working on it in my free time. There are many things that can be improved but I learned a lot on the journey and I hope you like it as it is right now. However, your suggestions and criticism are very welcome.
For the head I started with a sphere and the body was a Zbrush base mesh. The rendering is done in Cycles with procedural materials.
In the next step I will prepare the model for 3D printing and later try to make real action figure, looking forward .
Regards
André
