I’m starting a Bruce Timm style pinup sculpt of Cheetara from Thundercats (in fact, these poses are lifted from Bruce Timm paintings). Let me know which pose you think is strongest. Thanks!
I would pick #2.
agree with zber2 - 2
To be honest I like one and two, number three doesn’t look right for some reason.
Both 1 and 2 are good. But i’d have to say 1 seems the best for a Thundercats character; it just looks a lot faster and more dynamic.
agree with aero:
3 doesn’t look right
pose 2 seems a bit boring and stiff
i would pick pose 1 for a thundercat. it looks more dynamic
I combined pose 2 and 3 but I’m still not completely happy with the result. I agree that pose #1 is more consistent with The Thundercats style-wise, but I’m going for more of a pinup version of Cheetara (think Bruce Timm). Anyway, I made some progress on the sculpt, still more to do on the face, arms, chest, legs… well, basically everything. Comments always welcome.
Amazing pose, really this in itself is a masterpiece.
Nice work mate. Try make her look to the camera to have sort of a stronger character.
Looking forward to the finished render.
Great chara.
I have to agree, the first pose is stronger.
Something is bothering me about the hands, especially the right one.
doesnt seem to have full grip of the stick.
also thumb maybe too short?
I agree about the hands, they need a lot of work, I haven’t really touched them yet. I think I will probably continue to work on the pose, but for now, here is a minor update:
3D print of Cheetara…

Great work… where was print done or on what printer…
Thanks! The print was from Ownage, I can’t recommend them highly enough, I’ve used a few different vendors and they are the best by far.

I would like to get something printed from ownage, but the don’t seem to have a website.
How did you contact them?
i am also curious how much it was to print your piece.

Thanks! They do have a website, but there is not much to it: www.ownage.com. You can send mail to the address on the site to get a quote.
