can't remove button and sub menu from my custom UI

Hello
Like a lot of people I made a custom interface by moving buttons around the canvas, and adding a custom menu filled with buttons, sub palettes ans so on… that I call from a shortcut.

But
I struggle for years (and among several r4 update ) to remove some button, sub palette… while it works fine for almost everything there is a few tough guys that didn’t want to desappear:confused:
In my custom menu, it’s really hard to move a button once it has been placed, it doesn’t want to go directly where I want, looks like it is snap to a grid and placed in order. In the vids it’s so simple, should have miss something…

Any suggestion, except burning my computer ans start again from scratch

No idea; i tryed to remove the “Cust1” wich i also have in my interface, with no troubles (enable customize mode, and then Ctrl+Alt drag it on canvas).

What i would do if its really not working for you, would be making a new UI from scratch with the things you want… it should not be more than 10mins

In 2023, I was having the same issue with removing some buttons from custom UI. I think its a duplication glitch that occurs when the button is dragged in between the divider and tool short cut space. In order to fix it the only thing that worked for me was repetitively trying to remove the button with the divider expanded then doing the same collapsed, storing the config(even if the button was still there), restarting zbrush, then repeating the process. Eventually after the 3rd or 4th time restarting zbrush it finally worked.
