Can't Reach Buttons on Small Display

Hello ZBC,

I’m running into issues customizing the Zbrush UI on my 1280x800 resolution laptop. By default there are many icons on the vertical right shelf, some of which are at the bottom and BELOW the bottom of my screen as shown in this image (slightly customized UI here):

I was hoping I could at least reposition the Dynamic Solo button at the very bottom of my screen, but thanks to the extra horizontal shelves that the Enable Customize UI mode brings up:

even this icon gets pushed below the limits of my screen, and I can’t select or remove it.

1280x800 may be a small display for serious ZBrush use, but while I’m out of town my laptop is all I’ll be able to work with. I COULD just make a more suitable custom UI on desktop and move the .cfg over, but I was hoping there was actually a way in ZBrush to either toggle off those cumbersome extra horizontal shelves in Customize UI mode, or enable some form of scrolling like you can with the side trays.

  1. Is there a way to turn off the extra shelves that appear in Customize UI mode? Or a way to remove specific shelves without having to manually remove all items from them?

  2. Sometimes when you move an icon left/right, it will pop up/down a couple pixels if you drag too far vertically. Is there a way to lock the vertical snapping of icons to full rows?

  3. Is it possible to make shelves scrollable with the mouse wheel, or to make the horizontal trays scrollable from side to side? Would be very nice options to have, especially for smaller displays.

Lastly, something seems to be something buggy with .png uploads from imgur. Had to upload those screens straight from my computer. Anyone else having this problem?

Thanks in advance!

“Dynamic Solo” and “Xpose” buttons are both in the “Transform” menu. You can pull them from there. 1280 x 1024 is the stated minimum requirement for ZBrush.
