Can't install perpetual ZBrush 2022.0.8 without the Maxon App?

HI,
Just installing ZBrush on my new PC. Downloaded the latest perpetual license I used on my earlier PC, but now when I start Zbrush I get a popup message saying that I need to download the Maxon App to run ZBrush. I already have my old license for Zbrush so I don’t want to install any Maxon app (didn’t need this before).

Is it possible to run 2022.0.8 without the Maxon App? I installed the previous version (ZB 2021.7.1) and this works without the Maxon app, but I’d like to have the latest version I can get.

Any help appreciated.

Hi @tennet

You do not need the Maxon app to install ZBrush 2022.0.8. You have to download that version from the My Licenses page. Instructions can be found at (Legacy) Upgrading from an Earlier ZBrush Version page. If this still fails then you should create a ticket at Maxon Support.

Thank you, I got it working now! I believe I needed to have version 2021 installed with my license first, before I could install ZBrush 2022.
