High Quality Render
Enter the Cacodemon. One of my favorite demons from the original Doom. This is my reimagined version suitable for a modern audience, while hopefully staying very faithful to the original design.
I did the initial sketch in Oculus Medium (it was a few years ago). From there I exported the model to blender, cleaned up the topology, added a little detail in sculpt mode, then proceeded to finish modeling in Zbrush. Once the modeling was complete, I retopologized the model, then textured it in Mari.
This was actually my first time using Mari, and I’m quite pleased with both the node based workflow, and the outcome.
The final renders were done in Blender.
