This is a new image that I finished over the weekend, it’s a model of Brandon Routh from Superman Returns. It was created using 3dsmax, Zbrush and photoshop I spent a lot of time on the textures, it was very important that the skin look realistic, especially on his hands. I put a lot of effort into the sculpt to make sure that the structure and form was right. I also did a lot of work on the uv layout, because the pattern had to be tiled across the entire costume.
You have done a wonderful job in the likeness. And it def shows with the work you put into the UV layout. Spot on and once again great work.
wow !
amazing image! great colors and shader…

Amazing piece. I agree the tiling looks amazing. I’m a big fan of the hands though, very imressive
Great job! the hands are incredible! wonderful texturing.
The eye and brow doesnt quite match the rest of the quality of this… but that is being picky.
Really great work.
Thats top row stuff. I’ve been working on my sups for about 2 weeks and judging from your pic still have a long way to go.
I would love to see a wireframe of the model, I’ve been pulling my hair out trying to get the scultp right.
Great work.
Thanks for the replies!!!
Jdraks- I took a look at your model, I think the texturing is coming along nicely, the structure just needs more work.
Also, I’ve attached a screen grab of the wires
Great work
Thanks x-titan!
Here are some high res detail shots of the model.

Cool! The right hand looks wonderful indeed (all of it looks great, but the hand is the high-light).
Why didnt I see this post before? AWESOME JOB im really impressed with the way this came out…and u just inspired me to finish off mine cause im workin more on animation but it doesnt beat a high quality render…top stuff man…(i need to check this site more often hehehe…)
You did a terrific job with this… Wow… Bravo!!!
Great work!!!
Love the hand and suit texture. The face could be tweaked a little more to look like Brandon Routh but that’s a minor detail.
Love the overall effect.
Keep it up
