beholder redone with zbrush

I have been working with lightwave for years and never been happy with the level of detail available
from bump maps. The shadows don’t blend correctly. This is a model that I had laying around and
decided it would be a good candidate to see how zbrush worked. I should have used stencils but had
not figured them out till after the hard work had been done. All textures were created in zbrush and
exported along with a displacement map to ligthwave8. this image includes radiosity lighting using
fprime to render. hope you like. I am a bit of a d&d fan. Always hated these buggers in a fight.
You had to load up on every potion you had and hope for good rolls to take one down.

Reminds me of a hedgeapple…although they are usually green, I’d have to say…that I am gonna stay away from any red ones I find!:smiley:
