Anyone able to offer advice on Disney Infinity style sculpts?

Hi all,

Hopefully posted this in the right section. Does anyone know of any tutorials I could look at to achieve a Disney Infinity style look to a sculpt? After watching the summit & seeing the Disney section along with browsing the amazing work by @baity and @HecM in the main forum, I’d love to be able to get the slightly harder edged look - I have done loads of research on edgeloops/panel loops & have dabbled a bit with the HPolish brush but I just can’t seem to get my head around how to apply them to my mesh to get that look?

If for example I wanted to precisely create a flatter bridge to a characters nose & keep edges crisp, should I isolate the section, mask the bridge, polygroup it, edgeloop & then crease or am I randomly & completely heading off in the wrong direction?

Thanks in advance to anyone that may be able to offer any advice/point me in the right direction - I don’t mind if the tutorial is free or paid for either, I just really want to learn how to get that particular look.

Mike.

Hey Mike,

Check out a bud of mine’s site:

He actually is one of the sculptors for those wonderful pieces. He also has some training on Digital Tutors.
