I’m not a pro, purely a hobbyst. i know it’s expensive but I spend so much time on Zbrush and drawing that it’s worth it for me. I’ve never regretted buying Zbrush.
So my question, even though I’m mainly buying it for drawing, and I usually draw small, is it too small if I want to use it on Zbrush too?
The 22HD is so expensive, not sure I can justify it as a hobbyst but I’d like to hear some thoughts on the 13HD and Zbrush.
I use the 13 at home. Works great. It has a weird “grain” on it. which takes a bit of getting used to. But it is perfectly fine for Zbrush work.
Takes a bit of set up as windows thinks it is a tablet so it lowers the resolution and upscales everything, which breaks zbrush. You just have to dig for the setting in windows to change it.
Thanks. I ordered and then saw there’s a newer 13" tablet coming out soon, the Cintiq Pro. It’s 1000 and I got the 13HD for $756. Now I don’t know if I should return it when I get it and buy the new one.
If you have a Usb-C port on your computer I would recommend it as the current connection is a beast.
I might actually pick up the pro as well now that I look at it. Probably get the 16" one so I can get all that sweet sweet 4k. These look really nice. Thanks for letting me know they actually have a thing I might want to purchase.
