Americans: Before You Eat Any More Halloween Candy

Stop. This year, you may regret it. Some independent researchers are raising alarms that much of your candy (and even more foods besides that) are likely contaminated with toxic chemicals, especially melamine.

This is not a political post. I am seriously concerned for people’s safety.

Countries around the world, even China themselves, have removed all products containing milk powders manufactured in China before September. Actually, I believe it was September 14th.

The reason for this is a practice which enjoyed brief widespread popularity among major Chinese milk suppliers before it was found out. Melamine is a chemical with many various manufacturing uses from pesticides to plastic. Apparently, it also fools standard food testing procedures into falsely registering a high protein content. This cheat was actively exploited by Chinese food manufacturers for quite a long time considering the dire effects. One part of the food industry especially saw horrid repercussions from this carelessness - baby formula.

Tens of thousands of children developed kidney stones or suffered total kidney failures over the summer before the cause of the problem was brought to light. All over the world, products containing these ingredients are being massively recalled.

Except in America.

Americans have just celebrated Halloween. During the weekend after, millions of children are in the height of their celebrations consuming massive amounts of candy highly likely to contain these toxins in their main ingredients - especially milk powders - CHOCOLATE.

The FDA appears to be actively hushing the issue. They’ve issued a warning regarding White Rabbit Candy, and claimed that everything else is safe. They’ve done this without releasing any testing information or any details explaining why the same brands of candy are safe here in the U.S. when they’re being massively recalled everywhere else.

Don’t take my word for it. Do some research. Decide for yourself. I would feel guilty if I didn’t spread the warning of this potential crisis somehow. It’s up to you what you do with it.

This guy was my launching point for research into this subject. I recommend these videos as a good starting point for anyone who is concerned.

yikes, not like the old days where you just looked for razorblades or bugs.

smoking seriously damages your health.

go look, it’s on the internet

Educate yourself with facts:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Melamine

some of the information I posted was taken from that page, lemo… follow a couple links and there’s a lot more to learn… for instance…

read through this… you’ll find almost no official action or statement in the U.S.

where is the FDA on this list?

the FDA themselves… can you find any information here which genuinely reinforces any confidence in Halloween candies this year?

The issue which is worse than some candy and the melamine (If it causes health issues in the US someone will get his living daylights sued off…) is the corn for ethanol catastrophe. That’s ten fold worse and not a single soul is raising that issue. Corn for ethanol for fuel. That corn is not regulated by food standards. So the agriculture industry is poisoning and fertilizing the heck out of that crop. One of the ‘unregulated’ poisons is a nerve toxin which kills bees. Remember the news that all the bees were dying… In CA and everywhere else… that’s it! In Germany the same thing happened, it was not becoming a hidden subject, and the stuff is forbidden now. The manufacturer did not really complain as he has record orders from other countries. In a way it’s like DDT all over again. Different chemical, different side effects, same ethical issue. Now massive amounts of toxins and fertilizers hit the soil and the environment. And… that corn… is it grown in a different ‘fuel corn only’ section of the counties or on the backside of the moon??? No… next to the regular corn… like across the road… Not that fungicides, neuro toxins, herbicides drift during the application… noooooo… of course not. The farm lands are turning into an environmental nightmare right now. Why is this not a real big issue? Because it is not unlawful. It’s not ethical… but hey… Short term gains! Long term super fund projects! Job generation! The tax payer will settle it…

I won’t disagree with you. I’m doing a lot of research these days. While I hadn’t heard about that specific issue, I could probably compile my own book by now about how and why the common person today is being poisoned mentally and physically.

But it’s largely useless to go around ranting about these things. People don’t know how to inform themselves, don’t care, or feel too powerless to bother. Plus, it’s increasingly taboo to talk about such things in any place but your own home, because the subjects are considered inflammatory, distracting, and dangerous to general public peace.

But people care about kids. Tell them that their kid’s candy is probably poisoned, and give them a good reason to take you seriously… and they probably will… and nobody will jump your case for attempting to defend the health of children even if they think you’re misinformed. That’s why I felt it was appropriate to make this thread. It’s just a small good that I feel I can do.

Personally, I’m not letting my kid eat any chocolate this year, and I’m researching further to try and find out what IS safe for us to eat. It turns out practically nothing touched by corporate influence is ultimately safe, but that’s beyond the scope of what I feel I can get away with discussing here.

If you really want to talk about massive dangerous corruption in food, drug, and environmental safety… let’s talk about the Codex Alimentarius. If you want to talk issues, PLEASE PM me. I’m seriously interested. I’m making a huge push in my life right now to become a more informed and responsible person as relates to these issues, very much at the expense of my professional life. I’m graduating in December and I’m very much behind on my final project, but more and more I feel like being informed on these matters is so much more important.

But I don’t want this thread deleted, so I won’t say any more here. Like I said, just PM me or email me at [email protected] and I’d love to talk about more serious issues.

L

I tried to warn him… we could call the authorities to check his residence, but I fear they would only confiscate the candy/evidence and invent their own explanation
