all my IMM brushes are suddenly squashed flat on insert!?!?!?!?! Please help

I was having a great kit-bashing session and I accidentally clicked or typed the wrong command I guess, because all my Insert Multi Mesh brushes are inserting perfectly flat objects.
It seems like the are scaled down on one axis completely. I can’t figure out how to undo this snafu.

Please advise.
Thanks.

problem mysteriously gone.
shew…

I get this all the time and have never solved it. Do you know why it happens?

No idea. Hasn’t happened again yet.

Apparently it may be the Zintensity which applies a squash to the IMM brushes. or the Pressure setting under stroke.

Mmmm…i Keep getting this and I do not know how to stop this fom happening or how to switch it off - it does fix itself as mentioned but would be handy to know how to control this. Anybody know for sure?

Thanks
Steve

This is so weird. I haven’t used IMM in a long time. I went to use it recently, and everything is squashed again/
This happens after moving the brush around so it can stretch and such, but after a while it’s all flattened into a pancake and even resetting the brush is not a fix.

just in case anyone else ends up here looking for an answer:
joseph drust with #AskZBrush
(cliff notes: hit CTRL to set the size of the inserted mesh to your brush size; will also reset proportions of the inserted mesh)

As far as I can tell, if I set ZIntensity to 100 my IMM stops from beeing squashed
