Activate Edit Opacity: I.E New Transparency button on the right tool bar

So, I have a quick question. And it’s probably a stupid question but I have not been able to find an answer. I have been trying to work through some of the tutorials for Z3. In particular the sculpting a skull. I have been able to follow the tutorial with no problems. However, the problem I am having is with the Transform: Transparency feature. I am having a hard time seeing my reference image, and was wondering if there is some way to adjust the level of transparency? I have tried to alter the material I am using, but this is not working.

Is there something I can do to adjust the levels this new feature?

Thanks in advanced.

You can change the opacity of both the active and inactive subtools in the Preferences palette under the Draw section - the two sliders ActiveOpc and InactiveOpc. You need to have a model with subtools active before you can change them.

or check out Game master’s 3dopacity plugin…you can find a link to it from the z3 plugins link in my signature.

Marcus,

Thank you so very much. I can now completely see what I am trying to draw! You are the Man. Thanks again.

I’m having the same problem, but I don’t have the options you mentioned. I’m on Mac OS X, ZBrush v3.2.
