A Case Study of combing 3D Modeling; Rapid Prototyping and Bronze Casting

Hi there, we are a fine art foundry. Recently, we combine 3D modelling, Rapid Prototyping and bronze casting tech to make a beautiful polished bronze sculpture. Here is how we make it.

First, the artist send us the digital model of the sculpture.

Then we print it out with Rapid Prototyping technology.

We make silicon rubber mold and wax work.

Finally, we cast bronze and polish it.

This is a brief description, for details, please visit our page.

I’m on my way to your web site to find out about this.
Something I’m very interested in… looking for details on file formats, size options and cost
I’ve done 3D Prints (prototypes) from my digital sculpts and had those cast into resin
I am considering the other material options and methods.

Thanks for posting this!
