Anybody else use this browser?
I’ve just downloaded the trial version and I like it very much. For the first time I can see thumbnails of .obj files. Great. I can’t get the Maya (.mb) files to thumbnail (and they are supposed to show). I need to re-set the path but I can’t see how to do it. Old documentation (2007) says to use the Preferences subpalette in the Tools palette but the only Preferences subpalette I can find is under the Edit palette and there doesn’t appear to be anyplace in there where I can re-set the path. How do I get Maya files to show? I have attached three screenshots. The first one shows where the 3D Photo Browser utility is installed in my directory as well as where the ‘Maya2Mootoolsx64.exe’ file is. The second image shows the Preferences palette and the third image shows the error message I get when I try to thumbnail a Maya file.
How can I straighten this out? I’ve accessed 3D Browser ‘Tech Support’ and the ‘Forum’ but they are slow to respond.
ALSO - Is there a plugin for this utility that allows .ZTL thumbnails?
Any thoughts?
As you can see, I’m trying to find a ‘Universal’ browser that will thumbnail everything. Yeah, I know, “Good Luck!”
