ZTL won't open on setup it was created on, NEED HELP :)

Hi!

Around two months ago I created a ZTL file on setup:

Zbrush 4R7p3 x64
Windows 10
12GB of RAM
i7

Since then this ZTL has masively grown, to 997MB

One day Zbrush just refused to open it, showed me few memory errors and aborted loading, it keeps happening after restarting both Zbrush and Windows alltogether. I also tried using Compat Now button in Mem tab, but that doesn’t seem to work either.

If anybody knows how to get that file back to working, please let me know, or just tell me if that’s an issue of data corruption and I just lost it, or is it some kind of memory shortage and my PC is too weak to open it, so I need more RAM. Or is it even something else? My last backup is from two weeks ago, so I really need to get it to work somehow.

Errors are as stated below:

INTERNAL ERROR .\List.cpp Line:597
List: Error while reading m_main.m_pMem
OBject:

INTERNAL ERROR .\Mash3D.cpp Line:1930
Error while reading m_pDynaMeshVertexList

INTERNAL ERROR .\ToolMash.cpp Line:1393

INTERNAL ERROR .\ToolMash.cpp Line:1393

File Error

Please Help!

you can try to disable loading history on the file if you haven’t already tried it.

preferences > undo history > skip loading.

Alternatively, unless you really need it, you should turn off saving file history as well. This will DRAMATICALLY reduce your file size.

preferences > undo history > enable saving (off)
AND
File > UndoHistory (off)

Hi

Thanks for response  The thing is, it’s a ZTL not ZPR, so it already has no history in it. It’s just masive high detailed model.

Ah, right you are. I didn’t read your post title carefully enough.

Other than finding a system with more ram or using a backup file you might be out of luck.

If you can PM me a dropbox link to the file, I can try to open it for you, I have 64GB of ram.
