.ztl converter

Hi everyone, in case you cant tell im new.

just discovered zbrush today and it is the coolest 3D modelling prgram ive ever seen.

im working on a game using a Next Generation Graphics engine. we dont have much of a budget though, so im using the zbrush trial right now cause its all i can afford.

but i was wondering if someone could point me in the direction of a tool to convert the .ztl files to .obj files or something i can use.

i know the trial is just intended for evaluation, but it only lasts for a certain amount of time anyway, im not trying to cheat the wonderful people who made it, i fully intend to buy the thing when i can afford it.

I don’t think you can save a tool in the trial edition. In the full version all you do is export the tool. the default export is a obj.

maybe im just a little confused, i meant the model not the tools.

maybe thats what they call zbrush models?

Anything that you can paint on the canvas is a Tool. This includes 2.5D brushes and 3D objects. Tools may be saved as the .ztl format – but only by the commercial version. Commercial users also have the ability to export as OBJ or DXF so there is no need for a converter.

The .ZTL, .ZBR, .ZMT and other formats unique to ZBrush are proprietary to Pixologic. There are no converters available to change such files into another format.

Hey all, i have a problem with opening ZTL file. The one that was created in 3.12(Mac) isnt opening in 3.1(PC). Any suggestions how could i open it under windows? thanks in advance)
