ZR8 holding shift doesnt constrain drag alpha to 90 degrees anymore

ZR8 holding shift doesnt constrain drag alpha to 90 degrees anymore…anyone else have this issue?

Yep, its screwing with doing stuff in 2.5D as well

anyone find a workaround?
been using lazynezumi for continuous drawing (like holding shift)…but doesn’t work from drag rect stuff…

For a work around for the drag rect issue, activate Backtrack > Line for Lazy Mouse, with a drag rect stroke active. This will let you drag out the alpha in any direction you wish, and constrain to 90 degrees when holding shift, though it may take some practice to get used to the placement with the backtrack mechanism (you’ll draw the alpha from the endpoint of the backtrack stroke, not the start).

Depending on what you’re doing, you may need to turn up the track curvature all the way to get a stroke to adhere to the surface of a mesh.

The drawing of simple straight lines has been incorporated into lazy mouse 2.0 See this page of the questions and troubleshooting thread for info:

Continuous strokes can also be achieved with Lazy Mouse 2.0:
