ZBRUSH + WACOM INTUOS Best settings !!

HI everyone ! this is the first time i post on ZBC , i’m not quite sure that this is the first time someone open a thread like this , but i didn’t find anything similar !! So the question is :
What’s the best combination of wacom input settings and zbrush tablet preferences to obtain the greatest amount of sensitivty during a brush stroke ?

I Will post a screen shot soon to explain better what i intend ,

Thank you very much !!

No such beast imo. It comes down to personal tastes more often than not. That said, I favour a Soft-ish tip setting, Almost max out the ZB controls, get yourself the Third Pary Pressure Curve Tool - http://www.lab.envirex.cz/?page_id=3 or something similar, and play around with the curves, also play in ZB and maybe drop the curve so that low pressure has quite a bit of range in terms of drawing, this will save you tablet and pen wear n tear and also for me I like to have a lot of range when just softly sketching. Also some brushes I decide I want to alter Size more than depth and sometime the opposite, so it really is imo a complex probelm wanting a simple answer, if you get one let me know k

THANK You very much i’l do some tests !!

updating this thread now January 2015:

Mac after update to OSX 10.8.5, Wacom tablet issue with laggy or jerky pen draw when using ZBrush 4R6. ( 4R7 yet untested)
Preferences >Performance >MultiDraw - switching this off resolved a wacom issue where sculpting became impossible due to jerky pen -this issue not present running ZBrush 4R6 in osx 10.6.8.

Addendum:

After testing first release of ZBrushOSX 4R7 (jan 2015) running OSX 10.8.5 - jerky , stuttering wacom pen performance still occurs. Switching off MultiDraw in Preferences >Performance and/ or switching MultiThreads (Preferences >Performance ) down to 1 seems to fix/ greatly help the issue for the most part.

Tried deinstalling and reinstalling multiple versions of Wacom drivers from the latest release to legacy drivers, all to no avail. Also tested, Graphire, Intuos2 and Intuos 4 - all displayed same issue running ZBrush 4R6 and 4R7 on 0SX 10.8.5 regardless of driver.

It would be great to find a fix for this issue within the 4R7 release cycle.

One thing I do with ZB and other programs is to set my Wacom sensitivity per app, in the Wacom control panel. So, whilst ZB is open, go to your Wacom control panel and add ZB as an application. It will ‘see’ it if ZB is open. Then, adjust the sensitivity of the Wacom to be applied to that program. Same can be done for Photoshop, Painter, etc.

In ZB, I find that I like the Wacom pressure a bit less sensitive than a normal ‘click’ program that doesn’t honor sensitivity, and same with Photoshop. In Painter I may dial it in differently (in combination with Painter’s own brush sensitivity setting).

Thanks Dan for this addition. Sadly this did not resolve the issue in this case.
