Zbrush reset camera view when I zoom in very close on a subtool

As the title says, it will reset the camera view everytime I press ctrl + z or any command that is not brush related. Even solo mode or going into polygroup view cause the camera to reset. Making it very hard to work on close up detail.

Does anyone might know the solution for this?

Hello @callmewilly ,

I don’t know what you’re experiencing from the limited description. One idea off the top of my head is that your mesh is drastically oversized or offset in the worldspace, which can lead to odd problems. If using Tool> Deformation> Unify on the mesh (which re-centers and re-scales the mesh for best performance) corrects the issue, this may have been your problem.

Otherwise, please contact ZBrush Support and document the issue in greater detail. We will need to see what you are seeing.

Thank you!

Hello @Spyndel ,

Sorry for the late response and thank you for replying  I tried uniform and it make the subtool really big. It seems to be a scaling issues then.

But I have several subtools to unify one by one. Is there a better way to do this? And also, the .ZTL file will be shared later to coworker which will be put to the Zbrush master file. I’m afraid that changing the scale of the .ZTL will affect it when importing to the Zbrush master file. Will that be a problem?
