ZBrush price questions...

Hello, I am new to 3d sculpting and it seems that Zbrush is essential software for it. I wanted to but it, but the price is a bit high for me. Doesn’t Pixologic have regional prices or sales for their software? I would like to buy a license, but it costs like 2 month and a half of good paid work in my country.
I was looking for ZBrush Core as its much cheaper, but a lot of people don’t recommend it as it’s like chopped version of ZBrush.
I also heard that in near future ZBrush is going to have a monthly subscription - then what will be to those who bought regular license?
Thank you for answers in advance!

No one is helping me…

I haven’t heard anything to suggest a monthly subscription is coming. Price hikes on new versions (for new users) are common, and they might eventually charge a small fee for older users to upgrade to newer versions (but for now upgrades have been free, even for people who bought their license more than a decade ago).

I haven’t heard of regional sales either, although its possible it might depend on the specific reseller. Pixologic itself will occasionally have sales from time to time (for example, they did 20% off during this year’s Zbrush Summit).

Zbrush Core should still be an option to consider. While it is a more limited version of zbrush, it can still be used to help you learn the basics of the program. It can still be used for commercial purposes, so its possible that you can use it to help earn extra money to put towards purchasing a full license. And if you do have a license for Core, it’ll give you a $100ish discount when you are able to make the upgrade so putting money towards Core is like putting money towards Zbrush.

I missed a sale? Ok, I’ll wait until next one. Thank you.

Do developers plan to launch New Year’s sale? I would buy ZBrush then… Pixologic, please make a sale…
