thanks man but how do i specifially hide the front faces?
is there a better way for me then to mask > polygroup > delete inside faces?
What is your thickness setting when doing the extract?
mostly 0.01 sometimes lower
You don’t have to mask anything. Whenever you do an Extract, it automatically assigns separate polygroups to the front, back and edge.
Does a garment not have thickness and both inner and outer faces?
im doing the cloth/armor for a game so the less faces the better
So, are you exporting 1 mesh or subtools? Thinking outside the box is sometimes necessary
i suppose i will just export the subtool after extraction?
i start with the body imported then masking a belt shape for example which i wanna extract, but it has those stupid backfaces
Did you not glean anything from post #'s 2, 4 and 8?
I barely understand english so please excuse me not understanding it right away
i didnt realised till yet that polygroups are created right away Thank you everybody
That is quite understandable. I thought your English was good.
I will try to explain it a little better in the following 2 images. Hope it helps.
